TO REVITALIZE : This is coming into a full acceptance of the person of Jesus and His message. One realizes that Christian life now calls for an interior renewal which the Gospels call a profound change of mind and heart. It brings on a change of attitudes, priorities, and a conviction of Mission energized by the Spirit. This is an adult spirituality. It means we enflesh the "dry bones" and yearn to revitalize the Kingdom with a newly generated enthusiasm. Revitalization must lead to personal involvement.

In five years, the parish community can positively effect revitalization within the parish by identifying, evaluating, assessing, and planning programs that: enhance adult faith life; recognize special spiritual needs of parishioners; and improve the quality of liturgical celebrations.

Actions to promote the above may include: 

• Directed shared reflections

• Small group faith sharing

• Formation programs for all ministers
